We have identified lifelong learning as a necessity for addressing educational and socio-economic issues. We close educational gaps by donating books, advocating the rights of our underserved and marginalized beneficiaries, and developing their capacities through sustainable projects, focused on education, advocacy, and capacity development.
Educational Quality Improvement Projects(EQUIP) Our EQUIP projects are focused on closing relevant educational gaps so that learning can lead to a change in behaviour which leads to success. EQUIP includes; Book Drive Campaign, Career Guidance and Counselling, Digital Hub, The Inclusive Young Leadership Academy.
We promote disability inclusion that seeks to change societal stereotypes and structures affecting our beneficiaries, especially those with disabilities through our Harnessing Opportunities Promoting Equality (HOPE) Advocacy Projects, Advocacy and Promoting Disability Inclusion
The projects are focused on giving a hand up to our beneficiaries so that they can lift themselves out of poverty to prosperity. Reorientation, Resource, Inspiration, Support and Empowerment (RRISE): Youth Employability Skills (YES) Project, The Easter Empowerment Project (TEEP), Holiday Empowerment Project (HEP), Thank God It's Inspiration Friday (TGIIF).
Access to books is a crucial factor in helping children learn to read, succeed academically and reach their potential. These discoveries reinforced the case for the work that KIR Foundation has been involved in for over a decade, that is; putting books in the hands of those who want to read, but do not have access to books.
The aim of this project is to improve the quality of education through the establishment of reading corners in 100 Public/Community Primary Schools.
Project Objectives
1. To give vulnerable, disadvantaged children and underserved communities access to books.
2. To establish 100 Reading Corners and donate a minimum of 100,000 books.
3. To create a reading culture among public/community primary school pupils, and vulnerable children in correctional institutions/orphanages.
4. To improve the quality of education, improve academic performance and give a better future to the beneficiaries.
5. To improve knowledge and understanding of the world, personal, social, and emotional development of the beneficiaries.

Our goal this year for the Back-To-School Project is to support 1000 pupils like Dorcas in Public schools with writing materials. The Hub provides disadvantaged youth the opportunity to learn digital skills, meet mentors, and network with other youth who are interested in working in the tech space.
Our Community Centre offers bright modern central venue for meetings and small events. We welcome bookings from the public and our hire rate is negotiable.
