Inspiring Change Through Learning

We have identified lifelong learning as a necessity for addressing educational and socio-economic issues. We close educational gaps by donating books, advocating the rights of our underserved and marginalized beneficiaries, and developing their capacities through sustainable projects, focused on education, advocacy, and capacity development.

Our latest project

Kirfoundation Book Drive Campaign

Access to books is a crucial factor in helping children learn to read, succeed academically and reach their potential. These discoveries reinforced the case for the work that KIR Foundation has been involved in for over a decade, that is; putting books in the hands of those who want to read, but do not have access to books.

The aim of this project is to improve the quality of education through the establishment of reading corners in 100 Public/Community Primary Schools.

Project Objectives
1. To give vulnerable, disadvantaged children and underserved communities access to books.
2. To establish 100 Reading Corners and donate a minimum of 100,000 books.
3. To create a reading culture among public/community primary school pupils, and vulnerable children in correctional institutions/orphanages.
4. To improve the quality of education, improve academic performance and give a better future to the beneficiaries.
5. To improve knowledge and understanding of the world, personal, social, and emotional development of the beneficiaries.
