‘LEADERSHIP AND DIGITAL INITIATIVE FOR WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES (LADIWWD).’
The Freaky Andrew Essien Care Foundation, widely recognized as FAECARE Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Consulate, Lagos, is proud to announce the launch of a transformative initiative titled ‘Leadership and Digital Initiative for Women with Disabilities (LADIWWD).’
This impactful project is set to make a significant difference in the lives of women with disabilities by providing them with leadership training, digital literacy, and essential 21st-century skills needed to thrive in today’s dynamic world.
The LADIWWD project will be implemented in Rivers and Akwa Ibom States, two regions that are home to many talented and ambitious women eager to break barriers and build a brighter future. The initiative aims to foster a community of empowered women equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to become leaders and innovators by focusing on these areas.
Objectives of the LADIWWD Project:
- Leadership Training: Participants will gain insights into effective leadership practices, boosting their confidence and enabling them to take on more significant roles within their communities and beyond.
- Digital Skills Development: The program will provide comprehensive training in digital tools and platforms, ensuring participants can easily navigate the digital landscape.
- 21st-Century Skill Building: Women involved in the project will acquire critical skills for the modern workforce, positioning them to compete effectively in various professional and entrepreneurial fields.
