The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship – Powering the Next Generation of Women in Tech

Are you dreaming of a career in tech but do not have a laptop? This is your chance to make it happen! 
The She Code Africa Laptop Scholarship, launched in partnership with HP, is giving young women across Africa the tools they need to kickstart or grow their tech journey with a brand-new HP laptop, free internet access, financial support, and specialised training.
In Keeping It Real (KIR) Foundation, we are excited to spotlight this incredible initiative that is breaking barriers and bridging the digital divide for young African women.
She Code Africa is a community and movement of over 10,000 girls and women from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, and beyond, all learning, building, and leading in technology.
The goal is to make sure every girl with a dream to code, design, or innovate has the resources to succeed because when women rise in tech, Africa rises with them. 

Eligibility Criteria:
* To apply, you must:
Be a female applicant already on your tech journey.

* Be a valid member of the She Code Africa community (you can sign up at shecodeafrica.org/community).

* Do not own a working laptop currently.

* Be available to receive your laptop in person in Lagos.

* Follow She Code Africa on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn.

Access to technology is often the first step toward unlocking potential. She Code Africa, by providing laptops and resources, is not just giving tools; they are building pathways for innovation, mentorship, and visibility for women in tech across Africa.
